You must resolve to start!
 

Learning to eat healthy can be fun and easy! Make each meal supply what is needed at the time.
Breakfast is like the booster rocket on a space ship. Maximum energy "FAST!"

Lunch is the secondary rocket to clear the earth's atmosphere. MEDIUM STEADY BURN

Supper is the reserve for the trip home.  This builds the reserves for the next day

There are so many healthy breakfast choices to choose from, eating a healthy breakfast is the quickest way to get you started off right. I am adding a link to my favorite breakfast choices to give you an idea for breakfast.

Lunch is what will determine how you will finish your day. Each meal supplies the energy your body requires for the next 6 or so hours. Here are my lunch choices.

The evening meals don't have to take 2 1/2 hours to prepare to be healthy. Nutritious salads can be prepared in 10 mins. This is the meal to replenish what you used throughout the day and a salad is about the most perfect meal for supper.
Add a small meat side dish for added protein.
 
I have even developed the "Mike Murphy Diet Plan" just to show you how to choose high nutritional, low calorie meal items.

A LITTLE KNOWN FACT!!    The actual cost of prepared store bought foods is about 1/3 of what you pay. 1/3 is the labor cost and the other 1/3 is profit and shipping. Your food bill will go down if you learn to shop for health AND value. I have been a general manager of both Shoney's and Golden Corral restaurants so I have a lot of experience in food costs.

But for those of you who don't, I would recommend the 365 salads and the Master Guide To Organic Cooking to start with. Don't worry if you can't find a lot of organic foods. Substitute with what is available.

This is a good starting place. It's not the end. A complete healthy eating and exercise plan go hand in hand. You must learn to fight for your health as if your life depended on it, AND IT DOES!
